Reaching for an Angel

sometimes i reach for you

even though youre not there

a silent tear rolls down my face

as i wonder why i never saw your face

was never blessed enough to hold your tiny hands

i try not to be sad

because i know God had a plan

a job for you up there

safe with him

but still i reach for you

id be seven months along now

i try not to think

of what couldve been
